It’s been so long since I sat to write,
To express my love with all my might.
In words that would somehow touch your soul,
And fill you with joy sincere and full.
The love we share is not our own;
There are 3 in this marriage, we are not alone.
The LORD is the third and He makes it live,
So that the impulse in our hearts is “Give!”
I want to give you a life with joy,
Though married to such a sinful boy.
The road has already been so sweet,
